The 16th annual Calgary Intercultural Festival of 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm
The 16th edition of the Calgary Intercultural Festival was a vibrant showcase of cultural diversity. Held at the Dalhousie Community Center, the festival brought together people from all cultures to share in the excitement. The event started at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, and finished at 8 p.m. on Sunday. Nearly 20 booths offered a diverse selection of delicious food from around the world, vibrant cultural displays, and a variety of art products. Associate Minister of Multiculturalism Muhammad Yaseen also attended the event and delivered a speech, emphasizing the value of intercultural connection and inclusion in Alberta. The 15th annual Calgary Intercultural Festival of 2024 was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The excitement of the festival, held at Dalhousie Community Center, was shared by hundreds of people from all cultures. The program, which began at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, concluded at 8 p.m. on Sunday. The surprise guests of the event were football legend Hakan Şükür and NBA star Enes Kanter Freedom. During the day, Enes and Hakan hosted small activities with their young fans and held conversations with participants in the evening sessions of the program.
Additionally, nearly 20 stands offered food from Turkish and global cuisines as well as various art products for sale, with the proceeds going to support those in need.
The stage also hosted many wonderful performances. Here are some of them:

The 14th Annual Calgary Intercultural Festival, held at the Dalhousie Community Association on August 19-20, 2023, was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Delicious food and art products were available for sale at the stands, while beautiful songs and captivating performances entertained the audience on stage. IDI Calgary Chapter and Burc Intercultural Centre organized 12th Intercultural Turkish Festival with the participation of almost 20 thousand Calgarians, MPs, MLAs and the Premier of Alberta Jason Kenney. Thanks to all volunteers, sponsors and supporters for their continuous support.
12th Intercultural Turkish Festival is one of the few festivals in Calgary that attracts people from all backgrounds in Eau Claire plaza. We had talented musicians and valuable dancers from 15 different countries. We are thankful to MPs, MLAs and Mr Jason Kenney who honoured the festival by their presence.
We all enjoyed the warm days filled with sun and spring air in Calgary, there was another fabulous event at the Eau Claire Market on April 27, 2019. Nevruz Calgary Spring Festival 2019 was brought to us by Burc Intercultural Centre. We are sharing with you one of the most amazing stage performances!
